Internship at Raz Skincare
What has made the biggest difference for you during your internship with us?
Taking on so much responsibility and being thrown into tasks where I could take the lead has really developed me professionally – especially in content creation, purchasing, email marketing, and influencer collaborations. Personally, it has given me more self-confidence and the courage to take initiative and trust my ideas.
When did you feel most valued or like you were part of the team?
At Raz, you're not just taken in as an intern – you're seen and heard as a valued part of the team and treated as a colleague. You're not given lower priority, and that's clearly noticeable in everyday life. I felt particularly valued when I was involved in decisions and given responsibility for my own projects. A particular memory that stands out for me was a late Friday afternoon when we were still sitting in the office and having a good time. That's where the idea to develop Young and Hydra came up, and I was invited to contribute input – which was actually taken seriously and appreciated. That gave me a strong sense of belonging.
What was the biggest positive surprise about being an intern with us?
The biggest surprise was how relaxed and humorous the atmosphere was - you could say whatever came to mind, and there was room for laughter. It was so great to be part of a work environment where you had fun together and could really feel comfortable.
How would you describe the atmosphere and community in one word – and why that particular word?
"Familial/authentic" - because the atmosphere at Raz is reminiscent of being part of a small, fun, and supportive family. You can be yourself, say what you think, and there's always room for laughter and good conversations. There's a genuine warmth, openness, and room for humor in the collaboration, which made it easy to feel at home.
If you had to convince a friend to apply for an internship with us, what would you say?
You get to take responsibility, try your hand at exciting tasks - and you become part of the warmest and funniest team you could wish for. I am really glad that I ended up at Raz and got the opportunity to experience the company from the inside.
What has made the biggest difference for you during your internship with us?
What has made the biggest difference has been being allowed to participate in so many different aspects of the company – everything from product development and purchasing to marketing, social media, collaboration with influencers, and everything in between. This has given me a much broader understanding of how a company like Raz Skincare functions in practice, and has developed me both professionally and personally. I've been able to put into practice things I learned during my education and developed myself personally by taking on new challenges and taking responsibility for my own tasks.
When did you feel most valued or like you were part of the team?
I truly felt like part of the team from the very first week, where I was involved in meetings with suppliers and producers and was allowed to absorb a lot of knowledge as well as contribute my own inputs. It showed that my ideas were taken seriously and that I was more than "just" an intern.
In addition, I had the opportunity to get involved in tasks that supported different departments of the company, which has also helped me to find out which tasks personally motivate me the most.
What was the biggest positive surprise about being an intern with us?
The fact that I was given so much responsibility and involved in real decisions and tasks – I hadn't expected that as an intern, especially not after such a short time. It made me very motivated and gave me the desire to contribute to the community and do my best to achieve the best possible results.
How would you describe the atmosphere and community in one word – and why that particular word?
Sincere.
Because I could constantly feel that there was a genuine interest in me as an intern and in each other in the office. But also a genuine commitment to the work and a sincere atmosphere where you could be yourself and everyone wanted the best for each other.
If you had to convince a friend to apply for an internship with us, what would you say?
If you want to learn an incredible amount in a short period of time, both about what it means to work in a small company, but also about yourself in relation to what you would like to do in the future.
If you want to be taken seriously and feel like you're part of something real from day one, then Raz Skincare is the perfect place.
